Jokir Pty Ltd was formed in 2005 to provide people, with an occasion to celebrate, with quality, yet cost effective, hand made occasional stationery.

No two celebrations are ever exactly the same and the stationery used for each occasion will be different, in order to complement the "feel" and atmosphere you are wanting to create. All stationery will be "one off" orders, based on the information provided by yourself and/or your partner and in consultation with myself.

The idea to establish a business in this area came about as a result of my wedding in January 2004, for which I made the majority of the stationery that goes hand in hand with a wedding. The list included invitations, order of service booklets, thank you cards and menus.

The concept originally was formed under the name 3-elephants, however for a variety of reasons this was never fully established, one of the main reasons being my full time employment in the private sector. However in late 2004, I left full time employment so that I was able to concentrate on establishing this business, along with other business opportunities my husband and I are contemplating.

The idea for 3-elephants Invitations and Cards came about after my husband and I returned from our honeymoon in February 2004.

Having made the decision to get married, I decided that I wanted to further enhance the personal nature of our wedding celebration and one of the most satisfying ways for me to do this was by making much of the stationery myself.

From here the germ of an idea began to form in my mind. Maybe this was a service I could provide to other couples planning a wedding. There are many couples out there, who I believe, like the idea of hand made stationery, however with the many other tasks involved in arranging a wedding, simply do not have the time to undertake such a project.

This type of stationery can be used for many other special occasions as well, for example, engagements, christenings and birthdays.

Jokir Pty Ltd will also offer a range of hand made greeting cards, which will be suitable for a variety of different occasions.
